MONDAY, JULY 6 -- Trout Lake

Hello everyone!

Have you ever painted Mt. Adams up close from a tranquil setting by a lake?  That's our plan for Monday, July 6!  I discovered this location by accident several months ago while exploring the Trout Lake area, but it might be the same location that several of you in our group painted at last summer.  (I missed that one). There is a small parking area and there are no bathrooms, but a trailhead nearby might lead to some private 'relief' areas.  :-)  It might be good to toss some insect repellent into your bag for this trip!  Let's start at 9:00 a.m.

Driving Directions:  Follow Hwy 141 in Washington to Trout Lake.  Drive past the Ranger Station, which is on the left side of the road.  Continue on a short distance until you see Lake Road.  Turn right onto it, and after driving past several houses, you will eventually dead-end into the little parking area.
